We have correct authorisation to mine raw materials

Our company, based in the region of Syracuse, has the authorised license granted by the Regional Body of Mines of the Sicilian Region for the cultivation and exploitation of surface mines in order to extract hard limestone materials.

It is our company who mines directly using our own state-of-the-art equipment, e.g. dumper trucks and wheel loaders with high load capacity for transport, wagon drills for excavation and blasting.

We have 2 plants which are dedicated to cement production

SICS s.p.a has 2 fixed plants with a high production capacity of cement-bases materials which are easily able to supply companies which are carrying out construction within the region. We always offers a flexible and sound service, and also deal with developing particular cements and concretes or materials necessary for specific requests.

Supplying large quantities of bituminous materials

Our company owns a fully automated system which is able to guarantee the production of 200 tonnes of asphalt and bitumen for roads per hour. The use of modern machinery and equipment allows the company to ensure asphalt and bitumen for roads is supplied with specific characteristics, constantly offering high quality and always delivering on time.

Asphalt paver machines are also available, ideal for installation and laying, with a longitudinal and transversal self-levelling function. The presence of tandem-type compressor rollers helps obtain a high degree of finish when laying asphalt.
